The Challenge
When McCutcheon’s made the decision to bring in an external marketing partner, they needed someone who could strategize, execute on new ideas, and grow their existing marketing and advertising for both their Wholesale and Retail divisions.
After having been in business for over 75 years, McCutcheon’s was a household name with an older generation. McCutcheon’s recognized the need to expose their brand to younger generations in order to maintain impact and grow brand awareness.
The Strategy & Approach
We developed a plan to revamp all collateral and advertising for both the Wholesale and Retail divisions – including new catalogs, advertisements across the nation, product labeling, and a completely redesigned website with a high-performing online storefront.
Social media also needed a new voice, and a consistent approach to communicating with new audiences. A comprehensive marketing plan was developed to reinvigorate McCutcheon’s social presence. A new email marketing campaign and plan for video marketing was developed to push the brand forward.
Results
The McCutcheon’s website now boasts online ordering capability in an easy-to-use fashion, with consistently updated content such as recipes and tricks on how to use products in new and innovative ways. A video campaign was launched to provide new content for social media, and offer customers a new way to engage with recipes. And, wholesale customers now have a way to download marketing assets from the website and stay up-to-date with content and imagery.
