Monica Kolbay.

Monica is the Founder and CEO of ArachnidWorks. A proud graduate of Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Marketing and Graphic Design in 1998—the same year she launched ArachnidWorks. She continued at Hood to complete her MBA with a focus in Marketing in 2002.

Over the years, Monica has worn nearly every hat within the company. Today, she focuses primarily on business development and high-level marketing strategy, leading a talented team of specialists across branding, design, digital, and communications. “I’ve sat in every ‘seat’ at AW,” she says. “Now I get to do what I love most: helping businesses grow with smart, integrated marketing—alongside a team I deeply trust.”

Outside of work, Monica is passionate about animal rescue—a commitment that has translated into a home life filled with (more than) a few four-legged companions. “So. Many. Animals.”
